We are following government guidelines in our response to Covid-19.
We have cancelled all of our community and volunteer events, training, meetings and site visits and fieldwork for the foreseeable future, until we have more information. We hope to be able to reschedule events to new dates later in the year.
In the meantime, we are still doing our best to keep in touch with local people through our website and social media to celebrate and protect the rich cultural heritage, landscape and wildlife of Redesdale. For example, we are starting a My Revitalising Redesdale Blog sharing some of our highlights from the Revitalising Redesdale scheme, and we hope some of you will want to share your experiences living and working in Redesdale, too.
Although visiting won’t be possible in the near term, find out about Northumberland Wildlife Trust’s newest Nature Reserve in Redesdale: Benshaw Moor in the latest Roebuck magazine, which has been made available online for free during the current lockdown.
Northumberland National Park are in the process of building an online hub for the latest local information and guidance for communities across the Park. Whether you need help shopping for food, medicines or just a friendly phone call, you will be able to visit your community page to find out how to get help. Click here for links to current community support and further information.
Please do get in touch with us if we can help you, albeit remotely for now during these strange circumstances we all find ourselves in.
Please stay safe.
