What data’s collected and how it’s used

Natural England collects and stores: names, postal addresses, contact details, and maps of landholdings.

The data is only used for the purposes of delivering the Revitalising Redesdale Landscape Partnership programme, keeping you informed about the programme, and enabling you to participate in the programme.

Grant Recipients/Agreement Holders If you are a recipient of a grant or are party to an agreement for work completed through the programme, your data will be used by us for administering and analysing applications, agreements and claims.

The legal basis for processing your data

Processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, specifically to enable Natural England to deliver the Revitalising Redesdale Landscape Partnership programme.

Grant Recipients/Agreement Holders Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party.  This contract is either an agreement regarding work completed through the Revitalising Redesdale Landscape Partnership programme or the Revitalising Redesdale Landscape Partnership Community Heritage Fund.

Consent to process your data

The processing of your data is not based on consent. You can request that we remove any data from our databases at any time by contacting Natural England – info@revitalisingredesdale.org.uk.

Who Natural England shares your data with

Natural England shares your data with the Core Partners (Northumberland Wildlife Trust and Northumberland National Park Authority) of Revitalising Redesdale Landscape Partnership to enable the partnership to deliver this programme.

We share your data with these partners to allow you to get the most of the programme, who are delivering a wide range of different projects. We will also share your data with the National Lottery Heritage Fund, as is required by our funding agreement with them.

Natural England respects your personal privacy when responding to access to information requests. We only share information when necessary to meet the statutory requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

How long Natural England holds personal data

Natural England will keep personal data for the duration of the Revitalising Redesdale Landscape Partnership Scheme (until 31 March 2023). At this point your data will be deleted.

Grant Recipients/Agreement Holders Natural England will keep your personal data for 10 years after the end your Agreement, in accord with the requirements of National Lottery Heritage Fund.

What happens if you do not provide the data

If you do not provide the data, Natural England will not be able to work with you, contact you, offer you a grant/agreement or be able to provide advice on or administer your grant/agreement e.g. paying claims regarding Revitalising Redesdale Landscape Partnership.

Use of automated decision-making or profiling

The information you provide is not used for:

Transfer of data outside the European Economic Area (EEA)

Your data will not be transferred outside of the EEA.
